This is a very original 1968 Mercedes 280SL in exceptional condition. It received a professional restoration in 2017 that included repainting the entire car, refinishing the chrome, restoring the interior and rebuilding the engine, transmission, suspension and brakes. As a result, the car looks, drives and feels the same way it rolled out of the factory in Germany over 50 years ago. The Mercedes 280 SL "pagoda" is an automotive icon with timeless, graceful styling, spirited performance and handling, and build quality and reliability second to none. The car has plush, supportive seats and a high quality of craftsmanship throughout, including the soft top, which disappears easily and unobtrusively when not in use.
