Can I take the car out of the LA area?

We love a good road trip! We support you living out your road trip dreams, but do set some expectations. Each car has a mileage limit per day so make sure you plan your trip accordingly. Do your bust to avoid rush hour traffic or long distance driving where the car may overheat. Keep the highway speeds reasonable, it's a road meant to be cruised. We do also offer transport options for those looking to shoot with the car but don't need to drive the car to the destination.

What is your cancellation policy?

If you cancel or change your reservation at least 14 days in advance of the scheduled Start Date, we will refund the pre-paid Rental Fees or change the reservation date with no penalties. If you cancel within 14 days but at least 48 hours in advance of the Start Date and Time, we will refund 50% of the pre-paid Rental Fees or change the date subject to availability and a $150 change fee. If you cancel less than 48 hours in advance, your pre-paid Rental Fees will not be refunded.

Do I need to fill the car up with gas before my rental ends?

We would truly appreciate if you could refill the car to the level it was given to you at. We will document the fuel level at the beginning and end of your trip. We do have a reueling fee if the car is not returned at the same level.

What is your weather policy?

We are by no means controllers of the weather in LA, but we do know it is pretty sunny most of the time. Perfect convertible weather! On the odd chance there is rain in the forecast, we will advise you on alternatives for your rental. If you have booked your rental many months in advance, we will reach out to you if we see rain on your booking date to see about a replacement.

Is it possible to have the car delivered?

Of course! We offer delivery services based on distance from our shop in Downtown LA. Delivery rates start at $150 and include roundtrip delivery. Make sure to specify the location for pickup and drop off as well as the times for each.

What if we have a problem on the road?

We get it, things happen, especially to vintage beauties such as these. If you find yourself in a predicament, whether it be a dead battery, car won't start, or you need help operating the vehicle, call us right away! Our main phone line is (310) 905-1036. We will answer as soon as possible.

Do you have chauffeurs available?

We absolutely do offer chauffeur services. We provide drivers for all sorts of events, such as weddings, parades, baraats, and even tours! If you just want to get out on the open road without having to worry about the hassle of navigating, you want to be driven to your reception from your wedding ceremony, or any destination you are looking to be taken to. Our chauffeurs rent hourly on top of the fee for the vehicle you want to rent. Inquire for pricing.

Do you rent to international drivers?

We certainly do, and welcome you to California!
We accept full coverage vehicle insurance from the US and Canada. If you are travelling from another country, we do ask that you book on Driveshare or Turo. Give yourself at least 3-5 days lead time for reservations. We look forward to providing you with some classic wheels while you visit.

Are the cars available for weddings or photo shoots?

Absolutely! Normal daily rental fee applies. We will even provide a driver or handler (for an additional fee) if requested. Our classic rental cars make great additions to photo shoots as well, and the same fees apply.

What if there is damage to the car?

If there is another vehicle, person or property involved please make sure to file a police report once everyone is determined okay. Contact us as soon as possibloe for next steps of action. If the car is driveable, you can continue your rental if you choose. If the vehicle is deemed unsafe to drive or not fit to continue your rental, we will have the vehicle returned to our shop. Damages will be handled by our team upon return.

Do you offer discounts or collaborations?

Absolutely! We offer discounts to members of the military (former and current), first responders, students and returning customers.

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept all credit cards through our invoicing platform Square. You can also pay via Zelle or ACH.

Do you offer after-hours drop off? Can I leave my car there?

We know how much fun it can be driving around in that classic car, and sometimes the fun doesn't stop until late into the night. Not to worry. We offer after-hour drop off instructions, which we will give to you on the day of pickup. Our parking lot can be used to store your car during your rental, and it is gated for protection. HCC is not responsible for loss or damage to property while parked on premises.

Can I take your vehicle off road?

We do allow the cars to stretch their legs a bit off the beaten path, but renters must keep speeds under 5 mph with no wreckless driving. Be cautious of potholes, puddles, and do not take the vehicle four-wheeling. These cars are cruisers, not crawlers.

What does the daily rate include?

The daily standard rate includes use of the car for 24 hours and the daily mileage rate for that specific car.

Do you provide insurance?

Hollywood Classic Cars does not sell or offer insurance for our vehicles. Our vehicles are currently registered and insured, but for client use, you must provide proof of full coverage vehicle insurance. If you are a production company that is wanting to rent a vehicle, we also accept COIs and can send you a sample if needed.

Are there mileage limits for driving rentals?

We do have mileage limits for each of vehicles, which range from 100 to 150 miles per day.

Can I rent if I am under 21?

Unfortuely, we do not allow renters under 21 to drive our cars. However, we would be happy to deliver the car to your event or rent the car to a relative over 21 who can drive you in it.
